Privacy policy

This policy explains how Sooperhuman, an independently developed desktop email app, handles information when you use the app or visit sooperhuman.app.

Your email, on your device

When you connect an account, Sooperhuman accesses your account profile, email messages, attachments, labels and related metadata to display, search, organize and send mail on your behalf. Mail and account settings are cached locally on your device. Your email provider continues to store your mailbox under its own privacy policy.

Account access and security

Google accounts connect through Google’s authorization screen. Sooperhuman receives access and refresh tokens; it does not receive your Google password. Tokens are stored encrypted on your device. Other mail connections may use credentials you enter. You are responsible for securing your device and backups. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Optional integrations and AI

If you enable AI or other integrations, information needed for that feature—including relevant message content, prompts or attachments—may be sent to the provider you configure. The provider’s own terms and privacy policy also apply. Local AI configurations may process that information on your own computer. Review your settings before enabling integrations.

How information is used and shared

Account data is used to provide the email features you choose. We do not sell your email data or use it for advertising. Sooperhuman does not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. Data may be transmitted to your email provider, recipients when you send mail, and integrations you enable as necessary to provide their features. Email content is not published on this website.

Sooperhuman’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Google Workspace user data policy.

Website and support

This website has no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details and timestamps, to deliver and secure the site. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and resolve your request. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

Retention and your choices

Local caches remain on your device until removed through the app or by deleting its application data. Removing a local copy does not delete messages held by your email provider. You can disconnect accounts and revoke Google access at Google Account connections. To remove all local information, delete Sooperhuman’s application data and any backups you control. You may contact us about access, correction or deletion of information you have supplied directly.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes and will update the date above. Material changes to Google data use require notice and any consent required by Google’s policies. For privacy questions, contact support@sooperhuman.app.
